Artwork description:

I have a bit of a soft spot for this little etching as it was one of the first in my series of patchwork landscape images. It has been very popular and this is the only one remaining out of an edition of 50. This etching was created on a copper plate - tiny grooves and pits were made using a variety of resists and ferric chloride. The plate was inked up in several colours then wiped back carefully before being printed onto high quality hahnemuhle paper on a traditional etching press (a bit like a mangle if you can remember mangles!) The plates are inked and printed by hand for every print in the edition. This original print is the last one in the edition - no others will be offered for sale.

The frame is solid oak with no finish - just beautiful natural wood. It is ready to hang with d-rings and string attached. It is very well packed in a spacious box with padding all round.
