In this series of abstract paintings, I tried to represent the movement of naturally occurring earth pigments which are carried away by the water that is making its own way. Thus representing the wonderful magic of nature; rivers, lakes, and the whole earth seen from a bird’s point of view. The fluids have their own personality, they move in a certain way with their own laws of physics, creating a mystery to the humans.
Sometimes they look like crests on the surface of sand painted by the way the wind blows, or resembling rivers and mountains. They are fearless and invincible. I leave it to the viewer to interpret each painting in their own unique way.
This series communicates with the essence of life, they will make all of your senses come to life at the same time.
Interestingly, not a single brushstroke is used in the process.
Original Artwork; oil, Pigments and Varnish on recycled paper. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust. The colors are bright, translucent and the finish is glossy. Dimension: 23" x 33" / 60 cm x 84 cm. Signed on the back, so you can hang them any way you wish.
