A few years ago I decided I wanted to do some pin up paintings. I did not want to paint beauty in its normal forms, so I chose to make the girls much larger than the normal pin up models. With this latest series I have used a male dancer to pose as a pin up girl. The original paintings were very small but this latest series is very large at 150 x 150. I am enjoying adding a 'butch' object into each painting as the contrast with the very camp image is a laugh. For some reason the photos do not capture the WOW factor these pin up boys have in real life.
With such a large painting it is only possible to post rolled up. On receiving the painting it is easy to take it to a framer or art materials shop to get it re stretched.
