Lindisfarne (Holy Island) is, among many other wonderful things, also the final destination for those following St Cuthbert’s Way — a 100 km walking trail which starts at Melrose Abbey in the Scottish Borders. The final section of the route across the sands to Holy Island can only be walked at low tide, either by the modern road or by the historic, more direct, Pilgrims’ Way, which is marked by posts.
This print is made using the Lambda C-Type process on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Lambda C-Type printing gives true continuous tone, ultra sharp photographic images with crisp and precise edge to edge printing and absolutely no distortion.
The edition is limited to 7 prints. Each print is signed and numbered on the front and is sold with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note that while the actual image size dimensions stated are correct, the unframed paper size dimensions are approximate. There is typically a sizable border around the image on all sides to allow signing on the front of the print and to help protect the image.
Other print and edition sizes are available for this image. I can also arrange framing in a high quality black gallery frame with an archival quality off-white mount, if required. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for details and to discuss your requirements.
