Portrait of Billy Joel.
I was forced to have piano lessons as a child, hated every minute of it, and so, did not get very far. Nowadays, I wish I had persevered, because I love piano music, and, when put together with beautiful lyrics, it is heavenly.
Billy Joel is a favourite 'go -to' for what I call 'painting music', his earlier songs like Summer Highland Falls.
His face these days looks better for having seen a good few years, his wonderful large soft eyes and lovely khaki skin tones.
He is painted on a small canvas board, and is unframed, which means he is very economical to ship.
If preferred, he can be mounted floating within a simple frame ( see Peter Gabriel & Johnny Cash as examples) at extra cost.
Signed both back and front.
