Artist's description:

I love animals, especially, cats... This is one of my assorted artworks on a subject and part of a series of three 8” x 10” acrylic, slightly humorous cat-inspired paintings, which
depicts three cats, each representing a certain stage of life and corresponding mental state.

This painting – called “The Philosopher” – is of an older, somewhat tired cat, pondering the meaning of life. The times of curious bewilderment and of hunting are already behind. This cat "been there, done that" and now just resting calmly without any real intentions. The fly has been caught & laying lifelessly in front of the cat, who's not interested in eating or playing with it anymore. The goal was achieved... so, now what?!

The painting is done in acrylic on canvas board, so the provisions (framing or a hook on its back) needed to hang it. Its a nice art piece for any cat lover.

This artwork comes with signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
Please, check out two other paintings in this series (The Hunter, The Dreamer) and contact the artist if interested in purchasing.Shipping and handling cost can be obtained at that time via inquiry.
