Phantoms is a study of grasses and dried flowers against the backdrop of cold misty sky, I have concentrated on structure and tone, trying to capture the fragile beauty of the decaying foliage. I particularly love the way it captures the rays of natural light and appears to change colour.

I have created this painting by working with a palette knife and heavy body acrylics , a limited palette of colour to emphasise the texture.
The painting is acrylic on box canvas 61 x61 cms it is signed on the front sold unframed and ready to hang. This is one of my entries for the Artfinder & Liquitex challenge
