Artist's description:

When I was pursuing my MA in Studio Arts I became attracted to the colorful style of native people. I began a series of these paintings in different mediums. This portrait of a Peruvian woman is an example of the acrylic paintings that I created at that time and was featured in The Washington Square East Galleries, NYC in 1983.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on canvas
