Artist's description:

Name for peony in Chinese means "beautiful" and in their culture it represents riches, prosperity and honor. And in the language of flowers, represents good fortune and a happy marriage. I chose green background for this painting to compliment the richness of flowers. I painted it from life on stretched linen canvas using professional grade oil paints.
For this painting I picked black wood frame with gold liner which is beautiful in its simplicity. The accented liner enhances the artwork placed inside. The frame width is 3-1/4". Painting is wired and ready to be hanged.
