Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is a place where I surf most days and have done for the last 7 years. "Pedra da Agulha" otherwise known as "The Needle Point" is a beautiful rock sticking out of the sea and its a real prominent feature everyone associates with the local Arrifana Beach in North West Algarve, Portugal. It has a very distinct shape and I like it most when its slightly covered by the mist and you can see the waves crashing in front of it. I painted this picture straight after surfing in this place and hence I felt a real connection with my painting.
