Original artwork description:

This artwork was inspired by watching groups of chickens going about their business! Each one is trying to assert themselves in the group. Sounds familiar! why do cockerels remind me of a group of politicians!! UK elections are coming up so make your own choice which one is who!!!
Painted on to hessian covered canvas then the chickens are built up with rabbit skin gesso in about 10 layers. Yes really, it's a labour of love. Then the detail is painted using 23 carat gold leaf, palladium, platinum, moon gold, red gold, and silver leaf. Only the highest quality materials has been used for this artwork. The painting is framed set in to a black tray frame. If you would like more information please ask.
This painting is currently hung on display in a pub just out of Badminton at Acton turnville in gloucestershire. It has been exhibited in New York at the agora gallery with a selection of other cockerel paintings.
