Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

The number of plant species is thought to be about 350,000. It's difficult, yet wonderfully mind boggling to picture that many plants alongside one another, all with their own uniqueness.

One thing I've always loved about art is the endless possibilities. In this painting, I've created a new plant species which I've named 'The Peacocks'. In one of my fairytale worlds they will live alongside real peacocks, in luscious green gardens with a blistering sun shining down on them. Before the end of this year, there will be a collection of paintings arriving called: 'The Peacock Plants Dance with the Peacocks'. Each will be narrated with a brief story.

Materials used:

Gouache, ink, fabric & stitch, pencil & paper, all mounted onto canvas board
