Artist's description:

I wanted vibrant colours to signify the Indian festival of Holi which amongst many legends particularly celebrates the mythical bond of Radha and Krishna (Indian Hindu God/Goddess). The peacock feather was worn by Krishna so is metaphorically and literally represented in the painting. But the overriding theme is one of joy, merriment and celebration of humanity in its myriad forms, especially needed in our times.

Materials used:

Oil paint
