Artist's description:

The tale goes of Dick Whittington heading to London because he'd heard the streets were paved with gold. It may be a fairy tale but there are times when the streets are paved with the gold of sunlight. There are also road markings that can appear golden when glanced on a bright day. Like this box junction I crossed when walking down Gracechurch Street in London one day. Is it a coincidence that the white building was once run by a bank?

I think not...
