Artist's description:

In central Oregon there is a beautiful fishing lake called Paulina in the Newberry volcano crater I caught a lot of brown trout in this lake with my brother-in-law, Bill Craven. We would rent a boat and spend the day talking and fishing together until the sun got low. It was some of the best times of my life. This lake holds a lot of good memories. On one side is a large lava flow of almost pure black obsidian. A marvelous sight.
