This beautiful tree marks the spot where the shady path brings you out to the open view, across the gently rolling hills and fields, the view from the Lookout at RHS Hyde Hall. The late afternoon sun is catching the branches and the tops of the grasses in the dry garden and casting long shadows across the path. It is one of my favorite places for a walk.
The painting is completed in professional quality watercolours, on heavyweight 425gsm paper.
