This is a textured acrylic painting of a tree. The tree is silhouetted against a colourful patchwork background. The colours are warm and autumnal. They are enhanced with subtle areas of metallic paint which catch the light. The texture changes the way the painting looks , depending on which way it is viewed in relation to the source of light. The texture follows the branches in many areas to give a subtle 3D effect.

This is quite a large painting 73 x 60 cms ( that's 28 x 24 inches) . It looks good just as a canvas, but could be enhanced by adding a wooden frame. The sides are painted a deep shade of brown to match the tree.
The painting has been covered with several coats of UV varnish to protect it, and enhance the colours.
