Artist's description:
This is a pair of mixed media pictures of an ornamental cherry tree I planted a couple of years ago. Though still not very tall, the tree made a big impact in the Autumn when it was a blaze of colour, cheering up even the dullest November day. When the wind stripped off the leaves, they blanketed the ground beneath.
I created these pictures first with a dry-point etching, then adding India ink and watercolour. Each print varied a little in the hand printing, and the colouring is random so each pair of pictures is unique. Only two pairs of prints were made. A crafty snail made his way into one of the pictures - can you spot him?
Supplied only as a pair, each is mounted in a neutral colour and will fit standard 12'' x 10'' frames. Each is wrapped in cellophane and will be packaged securely in bubble wrap and a cardboard postal box for shipping.
