"Paris by Moonlight" (Paris au claire de Lune) is a modern impressionist stylized nightscape original oil painting 20x20 cm (8x8 inches).

I realized this miniature painting in impasto technique, rendered in a stylized manner with heavy textures of oil paint applied with a diversity of palette knives.

This painting captures a view overlooking the Parisian rooftops by night, the Tour Eiffel in the distance, bathed in the light of a phantasmagoric moon...

I have always loved to approach my urban paintings in a myriad of ways. I enjoy stylizing architectural forms in various manners. This has always been one of my goals, even a preoccupation from the time I was studying at the school of architecture until the present. The versatility of oil paint along with my prototypic work with palette knives allows me to play with the urban forms abstracting the city in an unconstrained manner.
