Original artwork description:

The latest in my 'pop art food' series is an image of a traditional American-style pancake stack. The pancakes come with blueberries, strawberries, and a generous helping of maple syrup.

Everything is set against my trademark sky blue background and outlined using a black paint pen. I love reducing food stuffs to simplified graphic-art style images that pop.

It's a bold bright painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone special!

It is painted in acrylics on thick A4 acrylic paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third pictures shows exactly what you'd be getting.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
