Artist's description:

Palazzo Contarini Fasan, called House of Desdemona, is a Venetian palace, located in the district of San Marco and facing the Grand Canal.
Palazzo Contarini is a peculiar construction of the fifteenth century, belonged to the family Contarini. A legend says that it was traditionally the home of Desdemona, Othello Shakespearean character.
Palazzo is small in size and has a facade developed in height.

I love the windows of this building, so I decided to print a linocut on different colors – this is the red one.

Linocut printed on Favini ivory paper 200 gr. in my small studio in the historic center of Venice, Italy with a small vertical press and signed P.d.A
