Artist's description:

“What passing-bells for these who die as cattle?” ― Wilfred Owen.
In August 2014 the world will mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. The words like those of poet and soldier, Wilfred Owen, provide a lasting voice of the horrors experienced. Here in memoriam is a portrait of Owen painted upon the words of one of him famous poems, Anthem for Doomed Youth.
