Artist's description:

"Osiris (/oʊˈsaɪərᵻs/,) was an Egyptian god, usually identified as the god of the afterlife, the underworld, and the dead, but more appropriately as the god of transition, resurrection, and regeneration."
A very meticulous and detailed work this one. At first look it might seem there is just the Osiris' silhouete elevated over the landscape, but closer more focused viewing will reveal more and more meanings and elements.
In general - landscapes in my work are never mere backgrounds - I'm very much in line with symbolists and surrealists about this one - viewing the landscape as carriers of meaning and emotions...
