I was fascinated to see the computer enhanced photographs taken by the Hubble telescope that were released in 2006. ( the colour arises by assigning different hues to each monochromic image.
The magnificent Orion nebula, is a fantastic snapshot example of creation's natural abstract art, an explosion of infra red and ultra violet.
I have tried to capture the mercurial quality of the gasses, yet the power of it's explosive energy.
The painting is acrylic on canvas, unframed, but ready to hang. enjoy !
