Orchard with a view, 2016.
As soon as I saw this image of olive orchard overlooking a distant flat land, I knew I wanted to transform it into a watercolour. I used to live along the banks of Danube, amongst the apple and peach orchards growing on rich hills overlooking a flat land extending as far as eye can see, as far as the Carpathians. This watercolour reminds me of that landscape and of warm Summers of homeland.
