Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

In this Giclee print the orange lily represents natures natural cycle of growth, decay and regeneration. The universal rhythms and the present moment. The flower is an archetype reminding us that life ebbs and flows with the seasons— it is always in flux. The background pattern is inspired by an old tin ceiling, uncovering memory, and the passage of time. I intermingle the external world of nature with the internal domestic patterns to create a metaphor for a reconciliation of our internal and external selves. When you mat and frame this print with a standard 3" mat it will be about 26" x 26". I can form a diptych with my print "Purple Hyacinth" for a larger wall.
