From my project "TimelessScapes". This image was taken by a selfmade pinhole camera on the Bolsena lake. Pinhole fotography is my preferred technique because it is possible to take a photograph of time, not only of the subject. This old wrecked boat is used as a small pier by local professional fishermen. During a windy day, the small waves of the lake become a flat surface after the 2 minutes exposure. It's something of magic. Also, with pinhole photography you returns to the origins of the photographic art: no technology, no automatic support, only a cardboard box, a small hole, a piece of B&W paper and your fantasy and capabilities.
The paper negative was reproduced and optimized digitally.
