This three-dimensional collage was an exercise in precision simplicity. I wanted to create a very simple yet absolutely impactual piece which could (if required) be reproduced in different colours, either to synchronise with a particular decor or to be displayed in a group of two or more pieces using different 'accent' colours.
The framework is precision laser cut from 5mm Black Perspex which is lifted from the background to appear floating. The 38mm spheres are perfectly evenly spaced and the whole beautifully matted and deep framed in black wood. The piece is very chunky and graphic and really does look so much better in real life. I doubt you would be disappointed. 'Once in a Blue Moon' could be available on commission in other accent colours so do message me if you have a particular combination in mind.
