Artist's description:

Small Format - On The Plain - What Could Be - Original Painting
Due to popular demand, I have created some smaller format original paintings. Still using my trademark technique and having the same bold colours and dynamic movement, these smaller paintings are perfect for smaller spaces. They are a budget friendly way to add some original artwork to your collection. They are size 31 cm x 41 cm (or about 12 inches x 16 inches) – perfect for a 40 cm x 50 cm standard frame. They are all mounted on a 40 cm x 50 cm high quality conservation grade acid-free mount to protect the artwork during display and shipping. The mount can be changed easily without damaging the original artwork. The painting is sold unframed.

My On The Plain series of paintings are one of my most recent artworks and features a visually striking landscape. This contemporary painting is one of a kind wall art will be a centrepiece for your home decor. Featuring an elegant colour scheme with bold colours and metallic accents, this artwork is beautiful, calming and reflective. This painting feature a stark landscape with loads of personality and earthy russet and metallic colours paired with a big sky full of drama and energy. I love the way the different hues of red, from light to deep and saturated, have all combined together like a spectacular sunset. My modern painting is made using premium liquid acrylic and other inks on luxury heavyweight Fabriano watercolour paper.

Even though I love living in London, I really love nature and its ability to transform us. I have been lucky enough to see some wonderful landscapes through my travels to more than 50 countries, and this particular colour palate (particularly, the strong red) was inspired by my travels to East Asia and the beautiful sunset colours I have been lucky to witness there. I have added in lots of different tones of browns and russets, golds and coppers for the ground to really make the lower part of the painting shine and to not be washed out by the dramatic sky. I believe the end result is a truly unique and original piece of original art which certainly will make a bold statement. It is signed on the front and back.
