Artist's description:

Just as kids trade baseball cards, often artists trade photos so that we can have a great selection of subjects to draw upon. Such is the case with this young Bhutanian woman toiling in the fields….using an old form of threshing. The air is thin and sizzling with a myriad of sounds: thousands of birds, working machines, humming bugs and the chirping voices of women working. I was amazed by the beauty of the woman, the softness of her face, and the lyrical movement and peacefulness of her hard work.
