Original artwork description:

Tintern in the Wye Valley in Wales is known for its 12th century ruined abbey, but that is not all that is appealing in Tintern. The views of the River Wye that runs alongside the village are quite delightful, and there is an old railway bridge that crosses the river in the centre of the village that is a very picturesque sight. I have used that in this pastel painting, with just a glimpse of the abbey in the distance.
The painting is framed with a wide white mount and a wooden oak-effect frame.
