The title comes from one of Emily Dickinson's poems (F-1078) and I've used it because this is truly a non-objective abstract, painted in acrylic on cradled hardboard panel. The work is highly textured and gestural (I've raked into the acrylic medium, then sanded back), the predominate reds and blues, giving way to rose, pink, violet, white and silver.
