Artist's description:

Original, hand-painted, production art from the classic film, The Swan Princess (1994). These cels were created using a historical, and now obsolete, animation process, cel animation. This process includes painting on transparent sheets of cellulose paper then overlaying the on painted backgrounds. Individual photographs of each cel and background were taken to make up strips of film. The Swan Princess was the last fully animated film to be released in theaters that was hand painted.

The mostly highly desired scenes and characters are now in limited supply in Swan Princess Partners' archive. This sequence, 7-75, captures Princess Odette's transformation from human to swan, and is the #1 favorite of fans and collectors. This piece of art includes 3 overlays, one with Princess Odette, one with swirling water and one with the ripple of water at Odette's feet.

Includes signatures of the film Producers, Seldon O Young and Jared F Brown, as well as the Director, Richard Rich and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and matte.
Original background art is not for sale.
