A bright and bold study of an oak leaf hydrangea. I took a photo some time ago - I think it was at either Cambridge Botanical Gardens or Wisley.....it was early Autumn and the fading colours of the hydrangea against the golds in the trees behind and in the leaves really grabbed me. Soft pinks, apricots and warm greens combine against a blue clear sky to make a lively and vibrant feel to the work.
The painting is supplied in a white/cream mount and will fit a frame size 60cm x 60cm.
