The nuthatch is a bird that I see occasionally in my garden. A small, pretty bird with a long pointed beak, designed for eating nuts, but rarely seen as it spends most of its time in the woods.
I like to paint birds and, through their demeanor and eyes, try to capture their personalities.
This painting has painted edges, so it does not need to be framed.
