Nuée Ardente is french for Pyroclastic Flow (glowing cloud). A fast-moving current of hot gas and rock, moving away from a volcano. This fine piece of art is from my GeoHorizon series. A series of original acrylic abstract paintings inspired by soil horizons. An icy color palette of white and pale mint warmed up with red and beige was used to create this soothing minimal painting.
I use professional grade acrylics with high quality color pigments that have very good to excellent resistance to fading. All of my paintings are finished with two coats of satin varnish to enhances the intensity, transparency and luminosity of colors and to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust.
The artwork is hand signed by me, the artist, on the front. And my signature, date, and title are written on the back of the painting. Sides are painted black. Arrives ready to hang!
