Artist's description:

Continuing my portrait series of war poets here is Bernard Adams illustrated on the opening words of his powerfully titled memoir, Nothing of Importance. 'Nothing of Importance' being the frequently recorded entry in reports from the stalemate of the trenches - despite the daily maiming and loss of life.
Illustrated on a hammer embossed fine art paper, this literary inspired artwork is finished by floating in an inch deep, 7x7'' black frame.
