Another beautiful Venetian canal scene. I loved this tunnel composition. The darks on either side help lead the eye to the distant sunlit building across the canal and then return and rest on the gondoliers at the canal’s entrance, who were parking their gondolas for a noon break. This is painted on Saunders Waterford Cold pressed 300 gsm paper using artist-grade pigments.
