Artist's description:

This painting is part of my series ‘Nocturnes’, which took inspiration from the music of Chopin - small, airy and short compositions constructed by means of free improvisation and a love for beauty. I remember my visits on weekends (being a student at the Cracow Academy) to the small castle in central Poland that is the birthplace of Chopin. I saw concerts of his music performed by pianists from all over the world in the family garden…a place full of harmony, peace and music sounding through the woods and meadows.
