Artist's description:

What is reality? If we take the mind as an instrument for the comprehension of reality, we mainly mean at state of vigilance. Philosophers have been trying to prove the difference between dreams and state of vigilance since ancient times. But the reality of my own being for me is indisputable. Everything that affects me, like emotion, experience or shape from the environment, is reality for me, attracts my attention, blends with my personality, enriches it and extends it. Reality in all its manifestations is revealed in the sentiment background of our mind, imaginative. We know and accept it not because we can think of it, but because we feel it directly. Even if the logical mind is rejecting, it is not expelled from our consciousness. As a dream, which can sometimes dye our mood throughout the day, even if we know it was not real. It's real for us. As soon as we enter into our own intimacy, it reopens our subconscious mind. It awakens feelings, and our feelings remember the most and the longest. They create images, create dreams. It is the path to the unconscious in the vigilance state of the observer.
So I deny only one reality. We seek the touch of the reality outside of us and our everyday world, and the dream world is sometimes most real, because it is a world of pure emotions. That is how the core of my interest has become inward sight, because in the dreams “I” approaches something universal, true, bigger, what the mankind inexorably striving for.
On my paintings there are peace, silence, passivity, with them I point to timelessness, omnipresence. There are past and present and the future - they all interact with each other. Portraits have they internal monologue similar to the timelessness language. Portraits and self-portraits on the paintings are not specific, they are a reflection of psychological states and universal feelings hidden behind closed eyes. Even nude figures are here as symbol of complete revelation. Everything is subordinate to the inner view of the reality of higher consciousness.
