I shot this image of the U.S. side of Horseshoe Falls section from Niagara Falls in Canada. It was shot using a 600mm mirror lens, that unlike a reflex lens has a fixed aperture and renders the image with a slightly softer feel. Captured in monochrome I used a red filter to punch up the contrast and it also allowed me to shoot with a slower shutter speed to create the cascading effect.
