NI CON EL PETALO(Not Even With a Petal) refers to how women should be respected always. It is a homage to women and their role in society and the family. It is a sap green painting with photographs and writings about women. The background as almost all my work, is texturized mimicking the old walls from my hometown Cartagena, Colombia. This piece has been made with oils and collage on linen of the best quality. On the center of the painting there is an image of a flaming heart with a crown of roses. Another image depicts a very elegan lady with a bright yellow coat. To the right, there is a realistic painting of a yellow rose that seems to be taped to the wall with a re masking tape. On the bottom edga the writing says in spanish: More Respect to Women. It is a happy painting with a powerful message.
All my paintings are originals. For your convenience, it is shipped stretched, wired and ready to hang. 1.5" edge is painted. Certificate of Authenticity. Signed on front and back.
