Original artwork description:

This surrealist painting was inspired by the Pueblos in New Mexico. Those walls were painted in the style of impossible art which tricks the mind to create a very thought provoking and intriguing image. This painting is also a reminder of the "melting pot" that has made our country great.
The cloudy sky with the purple mountains in the background create a peaceful dreamlike scene. This is a painting about culture and heritage created in a surreal contemporary style that will complement your interior design by making a powerful statement.

This painting was part of my solo exhibit Places and Perceptions at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, Austin, TX, April 13 - June 17, 2017

This original oil on canvas is ready to hang! (no frame, sides were painted for gallery wrap look, it comes with wire in the back for hanging).
