'Never Doubt I Love...' is an original drawing on hand stained paper draw in in pencil and inks measuring 132mm x 292 mm in size.
This delightful study takes a quote from the inimitable Shakespeare from his play 'Hamlet' act 2 scene 2... and how beautifully it reads.

I hand stain the quality paper with tannins to give an aged appearance, the textures and shapes that reveal themselves during the staining process go a long way to deciding the nature of the work that will eventually appear on the paper... it's almost like photography...I see the image in the paper before I begin and the ink work feels almost as if I'm uncovering a design or shapes that are already there...
