Artist's description:

The Canary Islands, part of Spain but located off the coast of Morocco, are famed as beach resorts, but with a long and glorious tradition. The Escuela de Vela is one of the oldest retro style yachting clubs of its type, decked in blue glaze tiling and designed in a circular shape. Reflected in the windows is the beach and the waves crashing against the rocks just below.

This is part of a series of photographs taken in various worldwide locations where the focus is on the everyday, but seen from a different angle, granting us an insight into that which we take for granted every day, and highlighting the simplicity yet also complexity of that which surrounds us.
