Artist's description:

The area of Rotorua in New Zealand has a number of geothermal rock and lake areas. Our favourite by far was Wai-O-Tapu, where this shot of the edge of Champagne Lake was taken. These are as close to the natural colour of the water/lake bed as I could replicate.

The sulphurous smell is well worth putting up with for the sights to be seen.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black contemporary box frame sets this image off beautifully.

Alternative sizes, print methods and substrates are available. For example:

6” x 6” digital print on archival photographic paper in 8" x 8" matt black frame: £ 25
14” x 14” C-type print on archival photographic paper in a 18” x 18" black matt frame : £ 99
16” x 16” premium quality 100% cotton stretched canvas ready to hang: £99
16" x 16" Giclée print on Hahnemühle photorag paper in a 20” x 20” contemporary box frame: £195
