The swirls and colours that occur in nature have always fascinated me, and are there to be enjoyed by everyone. I love to translate these into my painting, and here I hope you can see some of what I can see, when I look into forms that are often bypassed. This is a semi-abstract work , a close-up study of a flower-head, in colour-rich acrylics.
Painted at the end of the summer in 2006 this painting is painted onto wooden composite board, and is a testament to the good materials I use. The work is framed with a substantial 7.5 cm wide mahogany frame and is ready to hang. The work will come with a certificate and is also signed at the back.
