This artwork is part of a series of portrait that represent mental illness.
The subject represented helplessly witness the dissolution of his face and personality.
The falling puzzle pieces represent the founding elements of his own image, that he tried to put together in a lifetime.
So the focus of the work is not self-love, but the narcissistic failure and his terrified face helps to convey the greatest fear of a narcissistic personality, which is the awareness of accepting the illusory construction of his greatness.

The artwork will be sold with a black wooden frame, a light brown passepartout and a glass panel. It is hand-signed and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The framed artwork is ready to hang in a very protective package and shipped by traceable courier.

The usual shipping time outside the European Union is 15-20 working days, because a shipping document issued by Ufficio delle Belle Arti is required in order to get the artwork through customs.
