This is a varnished acrylic painting on canvas that is ready to hang. The red paint wraps around the sides. Nancy started out as a completely different painting and over the course of a few weeks it evolved. I used a variety of tools and brushes to add and take away paint. I overworked the paint to create ripples and ridges. I love this painting because it is glossy and vibrant.
