Original artwork description:

The elusive hare is one of my favourite wildlife subjects. In a move away from my usual realistic style, I've played with colour and texture to create this piece. It is painted in acrylics, using brush and palette knife to create texture. The vibrant painting borders on realism and fantasy. Is it hot or cold? Is it day or night? Is it set in a forest or meadow? It can be whatever you want it to be.

The painting is shipped unframed. I would recommend something dramatic to do this eye-catching painting justice.

Two layers of varnish have been applied for additional UV protection.

Materials used:

Acrylic paints applied with brush and palette knife onto canvas board
